Cooling System
SERVICE FOCUS
Maintains proper engine operating temperature. The cooling system removes excess heat by pumping coolant through the engine to the radiator. Air flows through the radiator and removes heat from the coolant.
Reservoir tank
Stores the overflow coolant which is returned to the cooling system when required.
Radiator
Uses the airflow from the vehicle’s forward motion and electric fans to reduce the temperature of the coolant circulating through the engine.
Thermostat
Regulates the flow of coolant through the system to control the temperature of the engine.
Water pump
Forces the coolant to circulate through the cooling system.
